What is your Why?
See ehn, sometimes there’s no reason in the beginning and that's okay...
I’m pretty sure there has been a few times where you have an idea or get an inspiration to do or to start something, it's not like you ever thought of before, it maybe just crossed your mind and you just put it out there- no analogy or a badass planning or whatever it's these days, and you know people just welcomed the idea or project so warmly, it feels really good abi?
Na here matter one be like say e don spoil....
Now one uncle or aunty poses the “why” question and then boom! It hits you hard, how could they have shattered that table you were sitting so comfortably on, you just sat down now ...abi? I’m pretty sure hearing that simple yet nerve wrecking question you probably have already done a thousand flip backs and your brain might burst open from thinking so hard for an answer.
Just calm down, you are not alone o!
Oftentimes you don’t have a “why” per-say in the beginning but that doesn’t mean you should stop what you have only just started (I mean that idea wasn’t just casually strolling by, God must have blessed you with it for a reason ). Anyway, back to our story, so... yeah, if you’re passionate about that idea... well, now you need to take a minute, take a pause or whatever, just put a comma on that idea or project and REFLECT, FIND YOUR WHY, because your “why” is the only reason you would still keep the ball rolling no matter how bumpy the road gets ( it surely will o, you can’t even buy out that part or try to lobby your way through). When you get so many “NO’s”, your “why” is going to be your only inspiration to keep going back.
So... find your why, hold on to it firmly with one hand and with the other, hold that idea or project..... now you can be on your way.
Cheers 🥂
Good!!

DeleteThis was a very good read. I can count how many ideas I've had to trash all because the first people I told didn't see any light in it. A little bit of criticism is okay but it shouldn't stop you from going through with your idea. But while you put this into consideration ,make sure your WHY isn't all about you because you'll need to bring people on board at some point. Once again, a very GOOD read.
ReplyDeleteThis is was good read. Before you set out to doing anything whether planned or not, you should be able to have an answer as to WHY you are doing it. Am I doing it for self satisfaction?, Financial gain? To serve as an inspiration? E.t.c . It gives you a clearer perspective and better judgement and ultimately helps you in making a .decision
